The FV432 TANK - OUT OF SERVICE
This 17 Ton tracked beast runs on a 7ltr Rolls Royce multi fueled engine with a top speed of 45 mph. It is favoured through out the British army and some still remain in service today. There were many configurations of the 432, it is known as a multi-use tank. Our 432's have served in Iraq and the Gulf as street patrol vehicles and General's command vehicles.
The Stalwart - OUT OF SERVICE
Also known as "The Stolly" this vehicle is a staggering 2.4 metres high and is only accessable via port holes in the roof. It is powered by a massive 6.5ltr, straight 8, petrol Rolls Royce engine which has a flame retarder connected to the exhuast. It has brilliant off-road capabilities with its 6x6 wheel configuration, not to mention its amphibious with swimming capabilities. This machine can really go places, it was mainly used in western Europe and Russia to combat transportain over lakes and extremly rough terrain.
The Land Rover/ Other Off-Roaders
At The Army Experience we have a large selection of 4x4 vehicles, ranging from Suzuki SJ's, Diahatsu Fourtracks, Landrover series trucks, Defenders, Light weights and Range Rovers. Some vehicles are ex-military and others are normal civilian vehicles. The Land rover is probly the best, being a British favourite for more than 40 years, driven proply they can go almost anywhere taken.
